He holds multiple advanced certifications, including the Specialist Certification in Refractive Surgery (Cert-LRS) from the Royal College of Ophthalmologists, and is a Fellow of the Royal College of Ophthalmologists (FRCOphth), Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons of Glasgow (FRCS-G), and Fellow of the European Board of Ophthalmology (FEBO).

In addition to his private practice, Mr. Ayoub serves as a Consultant Ophthalmologist at Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust, where he leads the A&E department at the Western Eye Hospital and is a core member of the Imperial Cataract Hub at Charing Cross Hospital.
